Arun Achamkulamgara, a post silicon Program Manager from Intel Corporation in Austin, will share some of the challenges in taking a new microprocessor into production.

About the Speaker

Arun Achamkulamgara is a Engineering Program Manager at Intel Corporation in Austin, TX.  Arun has over 20 years of experience working in the Semiconductor, Communication and VLSI area.  He has worked across multiple cultures (India, UK, Malaysia, Singapore and United States) and had a broad experience in the chip industry.  Arun started with Intel in 1993 and has held various positions from being a design engineer to staff engineering positions. Arun has published and co-authored several technical papers in VLSI engineering and has been a recipient of several Divisional and Group Awards in Intel.  He holds and Bachelors and Masters Engineering degrees in Electronics from India, an MBA from Arizona State University and is also a certified, practicing PMP.  Arun is married with two children, age 10 and 8 both studying in Eanes ISD and his wife is a full time teacher at a Montessori school.
